位置测试

BPCC utilizes multiple methods in order to place students into the appropriate Math and English courses. The following measures can be used to determine placement into developmental or non-developmental education courses:

  • An unweighted high school GPA (if less than four years from high school graduation)
  • ACT或SAT成绩
  • Credit by Exam - an English and/or Math departmental exam may be taken depending upon which program the student is studying.

Students will be required to complete a departmental exam if any of the following apply:

  • The student graduated from high school more than four years ago;
  • The student completed their last Math and English class more than one year ago; or
  • The student has not submitted their high school GPA, ACT scores, or SAT scores.

If you need to complete a departmental exam for English, 请发送您的姓名, student ID number (L number), and BPCC email address* to liberalarts@zonxo.net.

If you need to complete a departmental exam for Math, 请发送您的姓名, student ID number (L number), and BPCC email address* to math@zonxo.net.

*Important: Student email accounts are required in order to be placed into the departmental exam module in canvas.  However, your student email account is not automatically issued when applying to BPCC. You must first register for a class through LoLA which will then generate a student email account. Please give the system 24 hours to create your email account.
